Clarity Update 1.4.7

New year, new Clarity update: Welcome to Clarity 1.4.7!

As we step into a new year, we are thrilled to announce the arrival of the highly anticipated Clarity Security 1.4.7 update. Packed with exciting features, improvements, and expanded capabilities, this update is designed to take the Clarity user experience to a whole new level. Additionally, we have completely overhauled our Self-Service Portal, ensuring a seamless and intuitive experience for our users.

So, let's dive right in and explore what Clarity 1.4.7 has in store for you:

Employee Identifiers: Bidding Farewell to Duplicate Identities

One of the key additions in this update is the incorporation of Employee Identifiers. This feature allows for better automatic reconciliation and reduces the occurrence of duplicate identities. With fewer identity conflicts to resolve, you can rest easy and enjoy a smoother user experience.

Clarity Self-Service Portal: A Fresh, User-Friendly Interface

Get ready to be impressed as Clarity 1.4.7 unveils an updated Self-Service Portal. It boasts a unified UI for different user personas, offers a revamped request and approval process, and even includes the ability to deprovision workflows. Navigating the Self-Service Portal has never been more intuitive or enjoyable.

On-Prem Nested Entitlements: A Helping Hand from Clarity

With Clarity 1.4.7, we have introduced further support for On-Prem Nested Entitlements. Initially available for Database connectors, Active Directory (AD) support is in the pipeline and will be coming soon. This enhanced support ensures a more comprehensive and efficient entitlement management experience.

Delta Syncing: Fresh Data, Right at Your Fingertips

Experience faster, more responsive data syncs with Delta Syncing of supported applications. We have gone back and updated several of our existing connectors (with more to come!) to take advantage of delta syncing. Instead of solely relying on full application syncs, we can now sync just the changes that have occurred since the last delta sync! This means the data represented in Clarity can reflect your various applications’ data with as little as 5 minutes of “stale” data.

Enhanced Attribute Mapping: The Art of Data Translation

With Clarity's Enhanced Attribute Mapping, users can explicitly define which attributes they want to push to their downstream applications. Want to use “division” when pushing the “department” field to Entra AD, but you want to use “department” when pushing to Zoom? No problem. Each app can be configured individually and all attributes take advantage of our flexible attribute prioritization.
